That is where we really miss Patterson. He would regularly get forward and give us an outlet. Gordon and Gray are essentially isolated the whole game because our fullbacks are not giving them an option.

They're not siting seventh in the table for nothing. Although the performance wasn't the best and things need to improve, I'm content with a point tonight.

It's so disjointed. It's one or two who go on their own fruition. There is not a clear trigger point that most good sides have. That's a fundamental basic of football. It may come across that I'm anti Lampard, I'm absolutely not, but he has a number of issues, basic issues, to address.

I definitely think his defending is great, I just think he has enough about him that he should have a bit more confidence getting forward and making space for his winger. Gray can take a player on but if he's getting doubled up on cause Mykolenko is miles behind him he's not gonna have much success.
