Having watched the extended highlights, Pienaar might not have been on top form, but he's not that far off and I think the stick he's a had is a tad harsh even if he did deserve some. There were still some quality little bits of play that he was heavily involved in.
Also, watching it back, some of the intricate passing around their third was just brilliant, up there with the best in the league and the frequency with which we produced it yesterday was boss. No injuries either and another week for Gibbo to recover. I can't wait to see Pienaar, Baines, Felli and Kev unleashed on the utter awfulness that is Sland at Goodison. Call me naive, but I've got a funny feeling we might not have to start from an OG behind against them next week, either.
