GAA 2024

Down are very poor, no improvement from last year.
They have been very poor over the last two games, they can be good when they get their running game going. However they do seem to have one game plan and if that doesn’t work then they can’t change. If teams defend in numbers against them and cut down on the space they are lost. Still fingers crossed they can get going for the semifinal.

Wonderful first half performance from Wicklow. Kildare had a strong wind for the first half but could only eek out a 2 point lead and have had a red card as well so will play the 2nd half with 14 men.

Huge chance for Wicklow..

Thus is where the stronger teams choke the life out of them. As you say, they are too one dimensional.

Fermanagh very poor today as well.

It's the second half in Killarney and Cork are level with Kerry at the moment.

We were winning by four points at one stage in the first half.

Hopefully we can push them all the way here.

Kerry won by three points in the end Kerry 0-18 Cork 1-12 the final score there.

It was a good effort by Cork, so hopefully we'll do well in the group stages now.

The hurlers start their Munster championship campaign away to Waterford tomorrow.

Cork went down to Waterford by three points in the hurling. It was a really poor performance.

There was a lack of hunger and intensity from Cork. Waterford just wanted it more.

A few fellas on that Cork team have been there too long imo.

We have two home games against Clare and Limerick, but unless we drastically improve then both Clare and Limerick will win comfortably.

This defeat just raises a lot of questions about where we're heading to as a hurling county, but well done to Waterford.

We have plenty of all Ireland winners from underage to bring through. Give them a chance i say.

All four of Patrick Horgan, Seamus Harnedy, Conor Lehane and Damien Cahalane should not be starting on a Cork team all at once imo.
