Player Valuation: £80m
Lukaku 16 appearances, Baines, Jagielka 15 appearances.
I've not noticed any real rotation for a core of first team players.
i dont think we have players in those positions good enough to rotate..

Barkley's absence does explain things in part. But he's used Besic way too sparingly. And I dont understand how he can deny some game time to an emerging talent like Browning.Oviedo is still recovering from injury, Stones and now Alcaraz have injuries (along with Distin having been frozen out for some reason), Lukaku was played through injury (Eto'o wasn't fit initially, Kone has been out long term) as much of a squad as we have - we started out with what seems like barely half of it ready to go. That we managed without Barkley, through Mirallas getting injured (again) and getting some value with Hibbert covering is testament to the side pulling together and doing a job.
We still haven't had our first eleven on the pitch at the same time yet (IIRC) let alone fully fit, match sharp & in form.

We have Eto'o who can replace Lukaku and Besic who can operate as a CB. LB is a problem without Oviedo, yes. But we have people included in our saud that really shouldn't be called squad members if they cant step in. People like Ledson, Garbutt, McAleny, Long...are they not considered? If not, why are they here and not on loan?
I would say you are not one to sit on the fence.Besic is not a CB. I realise he has played there in lesser leagues but he will never play as a CB for everton. If you cannot see why you're dumber than I thought. Barry is ahead of besic as a CB for everton. Besic will NEVER PLAYER CB for Everton.
you show you lack basic understanding, your knowlege and experience of football begins and ends with the garbage you write in Internet forums.
Gibson having only 5 misplaced passes doesnt seem..right. I feel like i saw more than that.

Direction is important too...
Gibson: 50 forward passes from the 86 he made (45 successful)
McCarthy: 35 forward passes from the 69 he made (27 successful)

Why are you wanting rotation of the team Dave?Barkley's absence does explain things in part. But he's used Besic way too sparingly. And I dont understand how he can deny some game time to an emerging talent like Browning.
Overall, I see Martinez making enforced changes to the first team. I dont see the principle of rotation at play here.

Back to Barry, any further news on his injury? And whats the score on McCarthy because what seemed more of a dead leg than a hamstring effectively put planks of 2 by 4 on his feet instead of boots in the final 5 minutes.
Gareth Barry has escaped a broken leg but could have suffered ankle-ligament damage during the 1-1 draw at Sunderland.
The former England midfielder was forced off after just 13 minutes when Jordi Gomez landed his studs on his ankle.
There were fears that Barry had broken his tibia, but boss Roberto Martinez said: ‘I am happy to confirm that it's not the broken leg we were worried about. There is damage to the ankle we must assess.
