I have nothing to come off better with.

I shared and article where Lineker came out saying he knows 2 gay prem footballers.

I said It's a good time for a prem footballer to come out gay, with the strength of the LGBT community, the annual rainbow laces etc. It will hopefully dampen match day homophobia from the younger generation if it's someone well known.

I said and still stand by it, if a male is dressing in feminine clothing, I will make a right or wrong assumption they are gay.

I've admitted I'm gay which wasn't a secret, but you're still doubling down with your pitchforks and flame micro analysing ways to get me banned, as that seems to be what you enjoy getting out of here.

Why should they have to come out? Their friends and family should be the only ones they feel the need to come out to. It’s really none of our business at all and I don’t know why we keep getting told by the media that we need to care about a footballer’s sexual preferences. Would it be headline news if Edin Dzeko publicly announced he was into BBW?

I have known two cross dressing men in my time (There is a sentence I never thought I would type on here...) and both of them were straight to the point of being boring.

Clothes are inanimate objects, they don't really define anything. (well maybe anyone wearing a Liverpool shirt can be defined as being a bell.)

It's a tough one that really.

I mean of course you are right, it's nobodies business and I have no idea why anybody is bothered about what other people get up to etc in their own time as long as it's not hurting people or scaring animals.

On the other side though if a footballer coming out means that a young person sees a famous person who is representative of them and gives them a bit of confidence to be OK with who they are then that can be a good thing too.

In an ideal world nobody should be afraid to come out or care about who others are as it should not matter, we are not quite there yet though. Maybe we never will be which is both sad and ridiculous in equal measure.
