Got to say i side more with 'coach' on this issue. He really is exceptional, in 5 years time people will wonder why we kept him on the bench so much. Same age as barkely and probably even better.
Does need to be fitter and stronger though.

I'm wondering that now and suspect it won't be long (December latest) before most people will be calling for him to start all the time.
Deulofeu is a talent,but has to learn that there is more to football than just attacking.
Unfortunately if he were started every week we would lose more than we would win, because of his lack of discipline and defensive work.

It was noticeable that Martinez had a very long chat with Deulofeu before he came on last night, and that the lads first touch was a PASS inside to, I think, Barkley. It is obvious that Martinez is trying to bring the kids decision making up to speed, without restricting his natural ability. He will play his part this season, and hopeully we could have him next season as well. There will be some exciting things from him, but I don't think he'll start many big games this season. We are also creating an excellent relationship with Barca, which could be a big positive for Everton in the future.
