The only difference is the price that Barca might pay for Deulofeu. We could get past the two years, breath a sigh of relief and Barca could still but him at any point afterwards. Apart from some coin there is no difference. If you buy Spanish, Portugese or South American players you have to accept that Madrid and Barca always have a 'buy back' option. If United can't keep Ronaldo and Liverpool Alonso and Suarez then there's no point wetting ourselves that Deulofeu might one day probably go to Barcelona.
