A lot of bedroom revolutionists on here.
A lot who would talk about sharing the inheritance and then plan all of their own estate to their own kids.
Still no alternative candidate for head of state promoted either that most would tolerate. Blair? Boris? Corbyn? Fookin Simon Cowell would get more votes.
Keep throwing stones and spouting socialist values (up until the confidentiality of the ballot box when you vote Tory)
For the laughs, this 200%.

It's been non stop brainwashing for ten days. Multiple silences not one. And us grown ups object because the whole shitstem is rotten. You really want me to "respect " this dead old woman who recently gave her son £12 million to pay off an underage girl he raped. When will royalists open their eyes and come out of the brainwashed hypnotism mass hysteria?
But I am not asking you to respect anyone. The fact that you seem to think I am is, in my view, a huge part of the problem.
I have suggested that people should be polite for one minute. Nothing more. Nothing less. Be polite for one minute.

Except that minute silence is literally promoted as "showing respect".

Ok, not showing respect in this scenario is important to you. That's fine. Each to their own.

What do you think was achieved by people booing? I doubt many of the royal family were watching the game, or even reading the match reports. They are probably still totally oblivious that it happened. So what do you think it achieved?

It's a small tiny stand against this royalist culture brainwashing. It says we're different to the west ham morons.

Personally i think its far more important to see a range of opinions. Thats whats makes Britain great. Acceptance of differences. This week it has looked like Russia on TV. I'm more than happy to hear people booing. It's what freedom is all about.

Theres a reason that Kaepernik took the knee during the National Anthem and not at a random point of the match like PL footballers. It meant something.

What exactly do you think was achieved by staying quiet for 60 seconds? As you rightly say the royal family were and are totally oblivious to it, so just who do you think you were 'respecting'?
What do you believe a minutes silence would achieve?

I keep telling myself to stop responding then another idiotic post from one of the brainwashed comes up....
1 what the hell is a bedroom revolutionist?
2 the whole idea of life is to reproduce and improve the life of the next generation so why wouldn't someone leave everything they've got to their kids?
3 in a democracy the people together will get what the people want, if the people want boris corbyn simon cowell or whoever then that's what they should get. Unfortunate result of democracy is that anyone can win.
4 the reason we get a tory government all the time is because the tory's concentrate on nothing else except getting power, and as is shown with all the crap from the last ten days, the media coverage will brain wash people, the tory's have a lot of money to put into brainwashing or pr.

Take your head away from the royal arses and have a think before you post royalist pr!

Showing silence is surely just basic manners and common sense and is just for sixty seconds whether you object to the monarchy or not.

Taking a minutes silence at a funeral is basic manners and common sense and shows a mark of respect for the family of the deceased.
This was a football match with no family members in attendance, so I ask again, who did you think you were respecting?
There was only one reason for the organised minutes silence at televised sporting events etc. and that was an attempt to show the world that the whole nation is united in its grief and wishes to show its 'respects' to the Royal family.
Well guess what? the whole nation isn't and doesn't. Accept it.

I know full well that the whole nation doesn’t respect or even want the Royal family, I’m indifferent to them myself but I wouldn’t let myself down or my club, who I came to the occasion to support, by booing or shouting during the sixty seconds of silence.
