not yet, got to have a dig around for a hack saw, or failing that just buy a little saw from the local DIY shop when i get paid.

either way i will sort it by the weekend

He spent 25 mins turning the nut before realising something was wrong.

Going to take him a lot longer that 5 mins to sort it, even longer when you have to count up the vape breaks.

@Ashtonian can you post a pic of the back of the toilet seat near the tank where the hinge is to show the bolt head. Seems weird to have a metal bolt with a plastic wing nut, plastic is usually only used on metal as an insert on a locking nut.

@Ashtonian can you post a pic of the back of the toilet seat near the tank where the hinge is to show the bolt head. Seems weird to have a metal bolt with a plastic wing nut, plastic is usually only used on metal as an insert on a locking nut.

I've come across a toilet with a plastic wing nut a few times.
