Golf 2022....

Pack of tory rats all getting aggitated at perfectly reasonable questions being asked of the greedy beauts, they've had weeks and weeks to prepare and still don't understand anything beyond their paycheck.

A golfer is only one run up from a darts player in my eyes anyway, barely a sport

This LIV stuff is boss.

Funny how a lot of people are calling the players mercenaries for ditching the PGA, yet the PGA have monopolised all the best players for decades. A little bit of competition is healthy, and let’s face it, if you trace most peoples money who have extensive wealth, it goes back to blood money.

I hope more of the top players jump ship, it’ll work out better for the fans in the end as they’ll have to come to some sort of compromise and it will add spice to the tournaments where both sets of players play in it as one.
You sound like a newcastle fan

Dominos.

PGA in its current guise is dead.

They need to wheel out Kenwright for some positive spin.

Eh, there’s no one really worrying leaving. Fowler is barely an alternate for the US Open, DeChambeau is a draw but he’s a beaut. You don’t mind losing him.

Reed is a cheat and only plays well at the Ryder Cup

If someone like Rahm or Rory or spieth jumps, then it’ll be a worry

I don't like change in sport in general. Something like the IPL cricket has no interest to me and this new Saudi tour has the same vibes for me.
I think cricket is the wrong example myself mate.
A county cricketer a few years back wasn’t making much money at all, and I’ve played with test players who had to go and be paid to play league cricket to make a living 12 months of the year.
A good few in the Liverpool Comp going back a while now like.
Now it’s full on cricket ( 20/20 especially) all over the world all year round. Too much now i feel, but I won’t knock them for making their money whilst they can.

Won't be long.

Throw it all in here if you want!
My first proper round of golf ever, apart from seaside crazy golf ?, was at Bootle Muni in 1971 aged 12, with my Dad and two of his mates! But didn’t really take it too seriously until I was about 30 when I gave up playing cricket because of a dodgy knee! Lowest handicap I got down to was 7.
Best course I’ve ever played is The Ailsa at Turnberry, followed by Wentworth, and Royal Birkdale!
Last handicap was 10, but unfortunately haven’t played for over four years because of the dodgy knee that made me give up cricket! I’d love to get back out there again but the knee is still stopping me ???!

I bet Royal Birkdale is unbelievable to play. I’ve played Bowring when I was a kid a few times, 20 years later I’ve decided to take it up as my mates did after lockdown last year. I’ve only played Shirdley 3 times since I started got a 106 on my first round, a 99 2nd then. 114 yesterday haha. I was happy enough with even the 114 after not hitting a ball in 20 years and only really playing maybe 10 games at most before that.

Funnily enough I’ve taken it up because of my knee, I need something to replace the football

Yup.
There have been rumours of Bryson leaving for months now. Arguably him and Reed are the most polarizing figures on the Tour.
And Fowler’s game is in the dumpster bin right now
