Just no flatstick. Not Scheffler on a bad day with the putter - he gave them chances - but nothing went down.

Rory can definitely win, but seeing how Scheffler is probably nailed on for another 66 and 67, he would need a pair of 64s to overtake. He's 100% capable of that, though I wouldn't call it likely. If he gets some help at the top of the leaderboard he would need less, but Scheffler has not been accommodating in recent months.

Yep, the minute your needing to pull a 63/64 in the 3rd round to keep pace is when mistakes start happening as he's chasing it.

Even a 69 yesterday and coming in at -7 would have been solid. Scheffler is like a machine, Morikawa has been threatening a round like that now for a few tournaments. I think Xander will do better if he's one or 2 shots off the lead rather than being the front runner tomorrow.

Players like Detry, Wallace, Mcintyre I'd expect to not be able to go the distance but it would be nice if they continue to play solid golf.

I'd be made up if it was Xander out of all the Americans, not a fan of Koepka or Bryson. I've finished work early to get home and get that 3rd round on!

Fog has slowed things up, so it looks like a split start off the front and back to be sure of getting this one in.

Rory will press the way Tiger pressed, and it never worked for either. Somehow, neither of them ever learned Jack's skill of just posting a number and seeing what happens behind them.

I wouldn't expect the players at the top who have not contended to still be there down the stretch either, but that is what we said about Ben Curtis when he faced down one of the nastiest Sunday leaderboards of all time and won. The PGA does have a history of burping out odd champions, though it hasn't in a while.

I don't think anyone really likes Koepka or Bryson. Koepka's the frat guy you know has skeletons in the closet, and Bryson is the annoying nerd kid come good. I question the life choices of a Koepka fan (and wonder what they've done), and I've yet to meet a Bryson fan.

Rory didn't actually play too bad he had countless birdie attempts that just rolled past the edge, on another day he is right up there.

Still a long way to go, I think anyway from -6 under is still in with a shout. Id even throw Rory in there as he is capable a really low score
What’s crazy is he dropped a 40 foot birdie to open his round, and it was easy to think well maybe this could finally be the major he wins

What can we say about Scheffler though. Under the surreal circumstances, it’s not hyperbole to say it’s easily one of the greatest rounds of golf ever played

Especially after listening to his post round interview where he said he was shaking for a good hour and really having to work hard to slow his heart rate down due to stress

Well, Scottie's never letting his caddie take a day off again. Rory has already passed him, and it's about to be by at least three shots.

I love how, no matter what happened on this hole, Tony Finau always looks like he just missed the cut and is about to trunk slam in the parking lot.

Xander and Collin can't buy a putt any more than McIlroy and Hovland could two years ago in the final round at St. Andrews.
