Entered liverpool marathon so training starts in earnest now. Been lazy last couple of months so got to get the mojo back. Perseverance is defo the key.
 

Lost nearly 6kg since start of Nov, BMI now hovering around 25.5.

Jogged 11 miles this morning, and had a skate in the afternoon as I do most sundays.
Foot hurts now though.. might have overdone it.

Have drawn up a 28 week training plan to take me to my solo skate race end of June. Already fallen behind on it. :P
 
Bloody hell I'm unfit. Had two training sessions, one game and two five a side games plus a couple of interval/circuit sessions since before Christmas.

If our cup match goes to extra time on Wednesday I might well die by full time. Chance of regular overlapping from full back: 0.487%.
 
Put on 4lbs over xmas, and hadn't done any exercise for 2 months until 5 a side a few days ago. My legs are like lead. Getting my bike back soon, and hoping to play footy once or twice a week, that'll do it.

Or I might buy a treadmill.
 
Just under 70 miles run last week, prob being it was all steady stuff and no quality. Hopefully building my aerobic base back up now.

I was rather busy today but did some sit ups and push ups when I got up. Small steps and all that...

Will go running later this week or next, depending on uni related things, to add to 5-a-side starting next month. Feel quite pleased with myself for doing those things, even though I know it's really not a lot at all. I'm just ridiculously out of shape at the mo', sadly.

I'm far from an expert but apparently doing core exercises in the morning on an empty stomach gets the best results.

You know the drill, pics or GTFO etc...

I know, it's what I'm aiming at, cuz I usually get up at 8 and don't have to leave til about 8:50 so plenty of time for a bit of exercise and a shower...

Really want to get dumbbells, but have no cash right now.
