Still though….
And there it is why I’m conflicted and sad about the whole thing .
What a goal , what a day and what a footballer for us
Where the burger van parks now opposite the Park End used to be a real old school bookies (basically a house). Saw him in there a few times and he knew the owner well!!Yep,he enjoyed a flutter did Kingy god rest his soul!!!

Same here mate.A shame the Kenwright / Mosh mess has tainted the things that came before it.
As a kid, him and Gray were heroes of mine.
He’s always known that fans are dangerous mateHis son Chris used to play in my team when we were 17 on the Wirral. No idea what became of him but he wasn't anything special at all - definitely not one of our best players. Anyway Sharp would never interact with any of the other parents, he'd stand behind the goal every time as far away from anybody else as possible. Really strange.
Everybody makes mistakes in life things that seem right at the time, but come back to bite you on the backside.
It would be a shame his legacy would be forever sullied by a few misguided desicions and actions.
We all deserve a second chance.
It is generally speaking but we all know why Bill did it. Emotionally and nostalgic connection with the fan base. A manipulative move in my opinion that did not work. Was always a ridiculous decision for him to have a place on the board anyway.
