The interview he gave the Scotsman, or whatever it's called was the final nail in my opinion. Showed no attrition at all, even thinks he/ they, the board were wronged, just feels sorry for himself and doesn't want to come back. Fine with me that's his decision.

...or contrition. 😊

Don’t know you welcome back someone who’ve you not un welcomed. He decided or was advised not to attend at the time and has had numerous opportunities to come back. He got paid off handsomely and might still be getting that payment from the club via moshiris loans that are burdening the club.
Don’t know if he’s working at the moment but lives around the corner from Keith Wyness in North Wales.

Sharpy has a house at Northop North Wales if he is still there - on the golf course - my brother played golf there - he will probably watch the Blues at BMD if he wants if he can get tickets or if he wants to - BK made him Director - no blue would turn that down - sad an iconic figure with the highest goal scoring record post 2nd World war has had to leave under circumstances of bad Directorship IMO ....

House called St. Andrew’s, I believe.

Other Managers & DOF have had better payoffs & purchased rubbish players on long contracts & walked away oblivious of the damage they have done - I feel BK & Moshiri are the main one to blame - he should never have been offered a job for life & then on to the board of Directors - his past management positions were Oldham & Bangor city ....

thats up for debate but only a narcissist bellend would then complain when they had to leave cos they were grossly underqualified.

Nobody has banished him from the club it was his choice to stop going.
I personally don't think he would have any issues if he attended a game , I feel he let the fans down but I certainly would not give him any abuse in fact a lot of fans would give him credit for showing up.
An apology first would go a long way to healing the rift but unfortunately I don't feel he thinks he has doing anything wrong.

This, by all accounts he has even had a personal call from Dyche telling him he is welcome anytime but still refused the invitation.

You would not turn that promotion down in any job, mate ... human nature & the fact as a player his wages were moderate compared with today's rate - his success as a player should never have been forgotten .....

In life would you turn a promotion down for that money = NO ....
I suppose the question is Would you then perpetuate a lie about people who adore you and forty years later were still singing your name ? Because you , and various journalists, can dance around it all you want that’s the problem . Unless Merseyside police are lying, which is possible obviously, and the video we’ve all seen of the players being pulled has been edited to remove the cars being kicked .

I’ve said I’m more than happy to see him in the ground , his playing performances earned him that right and more but acting like he’s the victim in this just when the tide was definitely turning in his favour feels a bit mad .

A bit of honesty , a bit of reflection a bit of genuine emotion would all have gone down a lot better . What do I know but I think despite his statements he is genuinely upset about it , even wounded but he’s not putting that across .

To be honest he has thrown his dummies out of the pram, he needs to grow a pair.
Turn up & receive abuse - would you do that after all his service has a player - fans have short memories - The people who promoted himself onto the board are to blame - I criticised him for getting the supporters PR job for life no one in this day & age gets a job for life .... It has BK all over it ....
