Out of all the managers we’ve sacked, Silva is probably the only one who in hindsight deserved more time.

Whether he was able to pull us out of the slump remains to be seen though. He looked a broken man in his final days here.

Maybe, but often in football, managers/clubs can just run their course. I dont think he can have any complaints - we were 18th in December and on a very bad run.

I’m not sure about Potter.

Ticks a few boxes with PL experience etc but I’d rather take a punt on Carsley if we are going down the younger coach route.

Carsley has more to prove.

Failing that a more experienced manager with solid European pedigree would be nice. No photos of Benitez please.

Just so done with Dyche now. The guy is totally cooked. Fried. Boiled. Flambéd. Time to get him out on the grass.

I would suggest. Bring Potter in off the grass. Get some noise around him. Get the feel of what he's like.

Let's twist. Everton under Dyche are just increasingly unbearable and going nowhere. Almost as bad as his pressers.
Sorry mate, I am going to have to defend Sean here, Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is worse that his pressers! I am prepared to engage in fisticuffs with nybody who says otherwise!

But regardless my point stands still.

The whole fanbase was more than happy to wave goodbye to him, despite the results being good, due to his football was mind numbing.
Allerdyce did a awful job, took a team from 13 to 9 after 1 win the proceeded to do nothing till Leicester lost their last 2 games and we went 8

For me it's the gamble of sticking with Dyche now and hoping he does enough to keep us up and being able to prize someone like Ireola or Frank or take a gamble on someone like Potter. Both scenarios scare me.

Potter would want a 2.5 year contract. If talks with West Ham go south not sure TFG would offer him much of an improvement.
