Sullivan is a proper rocket, probably.

"When West Ham first considered Potter about six weeks ago, they turned down his initial request for a long-term contract because they had some doubts about him and did not want to tie themselves to a significant commitment"

He's evidently not a priority for West Ham, and he knows it.

If Everton's interest is genuine, which I doubt, then he'd be here.

Its absolutely genuine and he has of been of interest to TFG for months.

ECHO -- Graham Potter's move to West Ham is reportedly in danger of falling through.

According to The Times, the length of the contract is proving to be an issue for the former Chelsea manager. Potter is said to have been offered a deal until the end of the season.

With his methodical approach and our well earned reputation for patience and support this could be legendary
For those reasons I'm 55% in. However, the significant risk of relegation hinders my backing.

Having said that, I think we're screwed anyway and the Dyche arguments are getting tired. So something new to entertain us on here would be a positive.

Dyche was our 6th permanent manager in 5 years. He'd have been long sacked if it wasn't for owner/limbo/finance/paralysis.
I know, it's crazy, we've had that many managers and you could argue that at least three of them were kept on too long. Moshiri was an absolute menace to this club. About two years ago I was absolutely convinced we would cease to exist under his tenure. Whatever happens this season, I'm pretty certain Everton Football Club will still exist as a going concern. I know that that seems like incredibly low aspirations but I wouldn't have been able to say that with any confidence six months ago.

Heard a point of view that is quite valid.

So many of our previous manager changes have fallen in the transfer window and dragged on, leaving us a uncertain destination and effecting our transfer opportunities, amongst other things obviously

getting in someone now could mean that we are in a better place for the window too

If Relegation is guaranteed, then surly we tether watch Potters Everton the Dyche Everton

At least we know Dyche can get a team promoted...

He took over a Eddie Howe team in mid table in October and got them promoted months later. They went right back down as favourites, but bounced right back as winners/scoring most goals.

I would have loved Potter here before his move to Chelsea but that move has damaged his reputation and with Brighton not suffering much from him leaving that leaves more question marks around him.

On the fence with this one but if its a choice between sticking with Dyche or giving Potter a go, Potter all day long.
