The great hope now is that Barca and Madrid on one side, and the fleeing Super League clubs on the other, tear each other apart in the courts.

All of that is true, but isn't it all applicable to what is currently served up as modern day football?Absolutely not.
A super league is environmental suicide, with clubs and plastic fans jetting about for self gratification.
The only reason football is what it us is because of history - in the uk thats how many FA cups, how many Div 1 titles etc. Who gives a damn about a chrome plated plastic cup made up for dome rich fellas to get richer. How can that possibly equate to 140 years of history? How can you go on and compare teams if the competition changes.
Any club that joins this is not interested in its fans, its not interested in continuing the history of a long established world sport. The football club dies the day it joins in with those greedy skunks, and is reborn as a new one, with no history and no achievements, into an entertainment club.
I'd actually morn the loss of great club names .... apart from one, if course.
Jesus freaking Christ.Providing we can still play in the Prem - its an interesting concept. Whats to stop clubs like Everton, WHU, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton from opting in and using the revenue created to bypass FFP / even up the playing field against the CL clubs should the scab 6 stay with UEFA ?
Stick two fingers up to UEFA / CL Cabal and the PL all at once. Sadly too many of our fans would be up in arms though.
it's an absolute bin fire innit? I'm not saying a super league will never happen but this is going nowhereThat new proposal sounds kin dreadful.
No you join the superleage you get punted from demostic competition you can never return and all honours are removed as if you never existed.. this should be the only way the PL/FA should respond to this.Providing we can still play in the Prem - its an interesting concept. walk out the doorJust go
Rules aren't law... I'd imagine this judgment overrides any PL rules on this topic.Didn’t the PL change their rules after last time banning attempts at this kind of thing?
Not entirely true. It’s definitely desirable to Americans and fans in the Far East and Africa. They outnumber us legacy fans by quite a bit.
I like it, watch it more than the Prem tbh.id rather go down into the championship
Pretty much .... but that's not a reason to embrace things getting worse. All of that is true, but isn't it all applicable to what is currently served up as modern day football?
