Green light for the Super League?

So clubs will remain in the ‘Star League’ for evermore unless they finish rock bottom of the Star League, regardless of domestic performance. But clubs being relegated from the Blue League will be based on domestic performance. Maybe they will need to finish 12th in the PL to ensure their ‘blue league’ status?

It’s nonsense that is not desirable to the consumer imo. There’s too much opposition against it for it to come off.
About your last 2 lines

They’re not mate, this time sky and TS will have some rights and they bury the protests. This will happen

The world according to donald trump.

Sad but true. But also think about the human cost if you don't. How many job losses there would be at the club. The cuts to EitC and so on.

I fully expect us to fight this and hopefully it won't ever happen. But push comes to shove and it does, especially with the yanks owning us, if enough English clubs leave and we get an offer - what are we supposed to do? Stick to our guns and our place gets taken by Brighton, Wolves or Brentford? That's fine and dandy until there is an FA Cup game and we would be like the league two side facing these clubs. Adapt or die.

Ok let's say you're 777 and just bought Everton. Then you're approached by a company saying you can play in the "Blue" league despite not qualifying, because you're a pretty big name. You get a guaranteed 14 extra matches plus TV money and if you make the final you go up to the next league. Providing you don't do exceptionally badly you can do this every year. What do you think they would say?
777 would 100% agree to it, as would almost any owner. That's what happens when ultra capitalist take over the clubs and the regulatory agencies.

Hasn't the European cup been replaced by a superleague for the last 25 years anyway? I don't see this new incarnation as being anything really all that different
