Nice to see the Germans doing the right thing again.
There's a lot to like about Germany.

What happens if none of the PL clubs that are in the ESL get relegated out because they just do enough to stay in the system?
Does that mean no other PL club can ever can get in? Even if they won the PL?
Madness
Presumably it's based on some sort of coefficient but to be honest I can't be bothered investigating. This is all UEFAs fault for changing the European Cup into the Champions League and making it all about money. As we've seen with society in general, once you go down that road the inevitable end is most resources concentrated in very few handsWhat happens if none of the PL clubs that are in the ESL get relegated out because they just do enough to stay in the system?

you say that like its a bad thingI wouldn't, but there's millions of people across the world who aren't tuning in to the Premier League to watch Burnley play West Ham. The money all clubs pay out relies on the television money, without it everyone's screwed. Clubs will survive and there would still be a league, but the 'Premier League' would be done for.
They also want the Premier League reduced to 16 teams from 20 to lower the amount of game.Madness
once you are in that top flight of it, you would have to have a sustained period (years and years) of sub par performances to go out of this structure completely, its like Italian politics. It's basically the Champions League but hardly anybody new ever gets in
Exactly, for me the beginning of the end for football was Italia 90 which made football trendy, led to Sky and the FA, along with clubs like Everton setting up the Premier League and ruining the meritocracy that we'd had ever since the football league was established.you say that like its a bad thing
and less income for those non Super-duper league clubs, much more for the super duper clubs. Sporting level playing field is gone. The 6 teams will go to the Premier League and tell them they want to join this new European competition, but because there are a few more games they want the Premier League reduced to 18 clubs and the League Cup to be abolished. That way they can play in both leagues.
Like I said yesterday we will be one of the first casualtiesIf the sly 6 feck off, the “other 14” are going to get a severely reduced yearly payment when Sky/TNT/Amazon deastically reduce their payment. What a mess this could be.

And we know those 5 teams will be from Scotland, Belgium The Netherlands etc, and will be replaced by more cannon fodder from the same leagues.5 teams to be relegated then. It gets better
So the sly 6 have their cake and eat it, and everyone else gets their crumbs. Sounds about right.
