It's amazing how much he has regressed when he was bossing around England in the Euros last year with a team from an island of 330K and keeping Swansea up singlehandedly.

How someone could lose his first touch, his free kick ability, his work rate (ignoring objective measures of course), and his passing abilities in such a short time is amazing, isn't it?

Just looks so slow and his touch doesn't look great either. Can't judge him on his time up front but when DCL came on he didn't look any different. Koeman has blown basically £100 million on him, Klaasen and Schneiderlin.

He took three brilliant free kicks, but he was absolutely terrible. He doesn't have the strength to play up top, and Unsworth really is tossing hail mary's in hopes that something sticks. He hasn't impressed me in regards of performances.

Imagine we had a competent striker who GS could provide ammo for - as is his role. Like most of this hugely-unbalanced team, he is playing against his natural instincts.

Imagine we hadn't blown 70 million on him and Klassen and signed a good striker and a class centre half. We'd be in a hell of a better situation.
