He's done a lot better than I expected him to as I thought he looked about finished off at the beginning of the season. He's the only one with the vision to pick out decent forward passes in our side at the moment which is something I had been expecting from Sigurdsson.

Siggy only made 2 set piece assists in his first 4 PL seasons. He was actually considered bad at set pieces.
In his first loan spell at Swansea, 4 of his 5 assists were in open play. He only played 18 PL matches.
In his first season back at Swansea, 9 of his 10 assists were in open play. He only played 32 PL matches.
People harp on about Gylfi only getting 5 open play assists last season.
But what about these Playmakers?
Eriksen: 2 assists all season in 2014/15, 1 of them were in open play. Both against Swansea.
Hazard: 4 assists all season in 2015/16, 3 of them were in open play.
Ozil: 5 assists all season in 2014/15, 3 of them were in open play.
Coutinho: 5 assists all season in 2015/16, 4 of them were in open play
Gylfi at least has an excuse, he played with much worse players at Swansea.
