I mean, if that’s his mentality, then he wouldn’t be suitable for us anyway.

Champions League is massive, but then, is just being fodder in the Group Stage really better than proving yourself in the Premier League and securing it with us, or if we struggle (more likely), get a move to an even bigger team who can compete to win it?

Bet Galatasaray would only want another loan anyway with a option to buy clause that they would ignore and try and get another years loan at the end of that season. Doing business with Turkish clubs is a ball ache

English players going to English teams. More importantly, to the same team - no other club would pay that. It would be double what we paid without his ever wearing an Everton shirt - I think that's pretty decent business.
