Labour didn't go canvassing it's core voters, it didn't speak to them so didn't listen. there was a void.

as for wether they are offering it now, only an election could answer that, but something they are offering is striking a chord wouldn't you say?

No. Only with those who want the extreme left policies harking back to the 70s.

Or is that why only Unknown Smith came forwards as the other higher Labour PLPs know the lunatics have taken over the establishment - big mistake to try and overthrow Corbyn the fact 80 percent of the PLP walked out on him they should have let him struggle on, and concentrated on the NEC getting the rules to elect a new leader correct!
No other party has this mad system of paying £3.00 to join the oh that's wrong make it £25
The unions would have turned on him to if he had 9 months of no shadow cabinet he was a laughing stock !
Big mistake to oust him he has benefitted from it!

Those changes you criticize have helped Labour to have more money than its had in years; they have gone from being £25 million in debt at the end of Blair's reign to having £51 million in the bank now.

peanuts to what the conservatives get in donations that unnecessary election cost over 100 million - I am no fan of blair by the way John Smith's death was devastating to let him in a tory wearing a red rosette, but he gained power did some good things till Iraq!

A simple question, who are momentum? who started this organisation? why was this needed within the Labour party? In what way is it different from Militant Tendency?

Sections of the far left see Labour moving to left, and view this as an opportunity for influence ,and some degree of power.

Longstanding Jewish members of the Labour party, who these people automatically view as 'Zionist', are demonized and abused.

Anyone who doe's not support Corbyn now faces online and personal abuse, and many decent and hardworking MP's are facing possible deselection at local level.

Corbyn is a decent and principled man, but I fear his new mandate as leader, will see a protracted battle for the soul of the Labour party.

Labour will eventually be realigned at the center-left of British politics, and Momentum will disappear, as quickly as they have arrived.

Some people are trying to move the goalposts and portray those that criticise Israel as being anti-Semitic, to try and stifle debate about the actions of the Israeli government against the Palestinians.

The pro-Palestinian position is one that has to be handled very carefully. I do believe that you can be anti- Israeli without being anti-Semitic. However it fits a certain agenda to link the two.
