Why would anyone expect an organization called "Stop the War" to back a position that would end up in a war?
Hate to break this to you mate, but there's a civil war ongoing now in Syria, aided and abetted by Russia.

... and the West, and Turkey, and the more intolerable elements in Saudi Arabia.
Indeed. So you'd expect a "Stop The War" coalition to, you know, want to stop the war...

Sure but what you actually wanting to say? Ditch the vote because people may change their minds a few years later?
No, one way or another we've made our bed now weve got to lay in it.
All I'm saying is further down the line if it does unravel the blame should rest squarely on the shoulders of the tories.
Spot on forgot to say most callers whinged about what the USA had done one was given 5 minutes to have a chance to deploy Russia bombing in Syria could not do it got cut off dear me this Corbyn is as controversial as trump the opposite leftish communist views! It was ever thus. Getting anyone from the hard left to criticise anything about Russia is an impossibility. If it was about the UK or the USA they'd be complaining by the coach load.........
Thank you.
Blaming the Tories is what people do anyway, chewee.
Same could be said of Labour. Global financial crash in 08 was all down to Labour (If you believe the 2010/2015 election narratives).
I think the dominant narrative is that was the banks/bankers doing.
And you're right, the tribalistic blame game of Tories this and Labour that has always been around, but neutral observers don't buy it.
A lot of things they deserve blame for. Most policy is driven by ideology. There's a conscious decision to screw over the poor from the Tories time and time again, and that can be backed up by political evidence.
There really isn't.
Compare Britain in 1978 to Britain in 1996. Which was the better off for the poor?
