Every derby they make these accusations, there must be about 55k cameras at Anfield every year yet there’s only even been 1 fan actually doing what they say.

Yet it happens every single time according to the Twitter warriors.

All players know there's cameras on them and know lip readers are employed to decipher what they're saying. It's why you always see them covering their mouths when they talk.

There's no way Holgate would lie about it knowing a camera would be likely to immediately refute that claim.

There's no doubt in my mind that that club has employed another racist. And that their peculiar supporters have backed the wrong horse again.

I bet all their black players will be chuffed to bits with Firmino if he has said something.

No doubt they will all be made to wear T shirts to support him.

I’m not sure their silence is any indication of guilt, it’s probably the best way to handle it as Everton have done the same and not commented.

I would hope that Liverpool ask him outright given their stance on Brewster and if he admits it then come out publicly and punish him.

If he denies it then they are right to stick by him until proven guilty.

I think Liverpool will tell him not to admit and deny everything, they know it will look bad and he will get banned, they don' care about someone being racially abused but do care about the brand

I find it hard to believe he’d make it up but at the same time find it strange that no one else nearby reacted to it given their close proximity, perhaps suggesting he misheard.

Apparently the Sunday Mirror has done exactly that.

Sadly we don’t hold enough weight in the media, haven’t watched the Sunday supplement, but apparently journalists saying it was sorted at halftime. And I can see it being brushed under the carpet.
Can’t remember all the details of the evra incident, but that was Utd who do hold weight in media circles.

I don’t buy the echo, but if this was the other way round you just know that tool James Pearce would be all over it. Does anyone know if Prentice or kirkbride have written much about this?
