I think we will finish on 32pts

So voted up to 32pts

Hope we can scrape a few more though

Think Lady Luck needs to bless us and quickly.

Away form is what will send us down id anything, 1 win away from home all season.

Our games against Watford and Burnley are both away from home, if we lose either of them I think we are a gonna. More for the affect on those teams...

Very worrying times to be an Evertonian

Realistically it`ll be 2 from 3. Leeds, Brentford and Newcastle have got themselves all but clear....

Watfords away games are Liverpool, Man City, Palace and Chelsea, realistically you dont see them getting anything from them. At home they have Everton, Leeds, Brentford, Burnley & Leicester. Probably important we win down there but with our away results we are more likely to get beat. Probably only 2 wins from them games which gives them 28 points.

Burnley are the ones that really worry me, same games played and 4 points back. Stubborn outfit who are always likely to pull out a shock win away, dont score many but also dont concede many. Their Goal Difference is better than ours.... At home they have Everton, Southampton, Man City, Wolves, Villa and Newcastle. You could see them getting maybe 3 wins from them, I think that could be us, Southampton and Newcastle (Nothing on it last day). Away they have Villa, Norwich, West Ham, Watford and Spurs. I can potentially see 2 wins there against Norwich and Watford. Gives them 34 points home and away.....

We currently have 25 points, realistically we need 10 points to stay up, dont forget Burnley have a better goal difference and I think they will beat us at Turf Moor due to our abhorrent away record.

Watford (A) L - 0
West Ham (A) L - 0
Man Utd (H) L - 0
Crystal Palace (H) - W 3, sceptical now though
Liverpool (A) - L 0
Chelsea (H) - L 0
Leicester (A) - L 0
Brentford (H) - W 3
Leicester (H) - D 1
Burnley (A) - L 0
Arsenal (Last Day) (A) L 0
= 7 points, total 32 and IMO relegated.

But draw at Turf Moor and Burnley will lose 2 points from and Everton will gain 1, that will give Burnley a season total of 32 and us 33 which means we stay up, this is how fine the margins are gonna be for the rest of the season. Must not lose at Burnley or Watford! But knowing our away form I`m pretty sure we will.

Just my opinion using the evidence I have available to us, I understand things can change BUT how long have we been saying that and Evertons away record is exactly the same, Lampard has just followed on from what Benitez was doing... I`m hoping we can pick up some unexpected results but I`m not holding my breath.

If we don’t pick up any more points away from home then we’re getting relegated, because that would mean defeats at Watford and Burnley. By hook or by crook, we have to roll our sleeves up and start picking up points away from home. Doesn’t matter what has gone on for the rest of the season, we have to sort that out starting from right now or we’re finished.
This.

Assumed we needed to win three of Watford, Burnley, Brentford and Palace to stay up. Can't see us getting much from the other games. After this weekend, the Palace game (when it happens) will need a proper response from the players, and I'm not sure they've got it in them. Which means looking to grab a few points from the others if we aren't to take it down to the wire. Would look to park the bus for those other games and try to nick a 0-0 or two. No point going for it and risk getting opened up against top table opposition. And those points will count come the end of the season. Frank played for Mourinho, he should know how to do it, you'd think.

not gonna lie, brentford are screwed

They've won two of their last three.

They were targeting Norwich away and Burnley home for six points and got them. Also Eriksen already made an impact and he was out yesterday so possible they'd have picked up a point at Leicester if he'd been around.

It's not like they just lose every single game v higher placed teams either, they got a 3-3 with Liverpool and won at West Ham earlier this season.

I think they'll be o.k but happy to be proved wrong of course. Think there's still hope of catching up more with Leeds tbh despite their two wins.

35 minimum, 40 would be absolutely certain. 3 wins and a draw gets us to 35, Leicester, Palace and Brentford at home, nick a point or two elsewhere. I think we can do that if we've 80% of the squad.

Call me mad but I also fancy a result against United on Grand National day. Early kick-off, nice weather expected, their season looks over already, the ingredients are there. However we simply can't lose the Burnley and Watford games. If we do then I think it's just destined to happen that we go. My prediction though is 36, 17th place. I'd snap your hand off now even for that.

In previous seasons, sitting comfortably in mid-table I would predict that this is more than possible...
Watford (A) W - 3
West Ham (A) L - 0
Man Utd (H) L - 0
Crystal Palace (H) D - 1
Liverpool (A) L - 0
Chelsea (H) D - 1
Leicester (A) L - 0
Brentford (H) W - 3
Leicester (H) W - 3
Burnley (A) W - 3
Arsenal (A) L - 0
Beating the likes of Palace at home and Watford/Burnely away shouldn't be seen as impossible. We've beaten Leicester comfortably in previous seasons and they've not been great so there's every chance of getting points against them. The games we can't win we need to be picking up draws and we've always been capable, certainly against United/Arsenal/Chelsea of picking up a shock win out of nowhere.

The problem is, this team has shown no signs they can win the games they should win and nick points in those they probably shouldn't. They've shown no desire to win football matches at all. They can't defend and they don't score.

What i think is probably best we can hope for is this...
Watford (A) D - 1
West Ham (A) L - 0
Man Utd (H) D - 1
Crystal Palace (H) D - 1
Liverpool (A) L - 0
Chelsea (H) L - 0
Leicester (A) L - 0
Brentford (H) W - 3
Leicester (H) W - 3
Burnley (A) W - 3
Arsenal (A) L - 0
We'll end the season with a little flurry that may just see us over the line but it's going to hearts in mouth type stuff

although, after watching Palace cut through us at win yesterday this is still an incredibly optimistic view. What ever happens we need to take points off Burnely and Watford or we're done for.

I think our fate will be decided, either way, before the final game of the season, so I don't think we're in for a '94/'98 scenario this time. I reckon one of the keys will be making sure we hold both Burnley and Watford in those fixtures.

I think 3 wins should do it, which out of 11 games is hardly a big ask for any EPL team... but for this lot to win 3 games before the end of the season feels about as likely as me having 3 top 10 albums between now and the end of May.
