i take a draw as i can't see Norwich beating them. i would not say it guarantees safety but 3 wins must be the target. Anything less and we are hanging by a thread.

Yeah I worked it out and it looks like we need 38 points.
Leeds winning yesterday was horrendous for us because even with that win I have them to just get 38. Its likely Leeds won't get anything from their next 4 fixtures and then will only have 2 left. If they were on 30 points still it could have meant 34 points would be enough.
Burnley have so many winnable games and a lot of them against teams who will be in holiday mode. Despite them being poor most the season they could easily pick up 14 points from their remaining games which puts them on 38.
We need 3 wins and a draw and that's to scrape it over Leeds on goal difference.
The other scenario is Burnley just don't manage the wins. A norwich win would be as big as our utd win yesterday if they can somehow manage it.

No Leeds winning was not horrendous for us at all. Losing to Burnley is the reason we now need 37 points rather than 34.

That was midweek. But yesterday yes it was bad because Leeds only have about 4-6 points realistically available that they will still get based on their remaining 6 games. Watford wouldn't have reached over 35 points even if they beat Leeds.
So yes Leeds winning was a bad one

How do you know? They would’ve needed 10 more to reach that figure with us still to play at home. Them being 3 points behind us would’ve been far far worse for us. You can’t just assume teams will lose all their games against certain sides, you probably assumed we’d lose yesterday.
