How stupid are Manu?

I used to not mind Man U too much but having read some of posts on the Red Cafe Martinez thread as well as this and the RAWK one, I'm getting more than a little tired of their condescending, smug, entitled, holier-than-thou, patronising, we-can-take-anyone-we-want-from-you arrogance..

Take RedCafe with a pinch of salt mate. It's full of Irish students who have never set foot in England before, let alone Old Trafford. You can't judge an entire fanbase on idiots at an internet forum. It's like saying that ALL Evertonians are bitter conspiracy theorists because of some of the bile I've read over at various Everton related websites over the years. Basically, the internet is full of w**kers. I know plenty of sound United supporting lads, I also know plenty of United supporting bellends. People are different, the footy club they follow has nothing to do with it.

@Pabbers

I know mate, was listening to Spurs v Chelsea on way home from Stoke! You're definitely right, City will push Chelsea all the way but I never disagreed on that - as things stand, Chelsea still top of the league and for me will win it as I think Mourinho has the edge over Pellegrini in the 'big matches'. Plus Chelsea's 2nd half of the season is far easier than City's (on paper). It's going to be close!

@Zatara

I will rise to your bait. United have some very good players in the squad. And we have a very good manager. Your post smacks of the modern day internet football fan - this isn't FIFA Ultimate Team or whatever it's called. Look at West Ham, do they really have better players than Spurs, Liverpool and Everton? I don't think so. But they're doing better than all of them clubs in the league.

The Premier League is about having a strong squad. We have a decent squad but an awful defence IMO. Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Herrera and Falcao are all very decent players. Then we've got players like Young having an excellent season so far yet unfortunately got injured today.

Considering we've had to shuffle our first 11 for every match and had to contend with over 40 different injuries this season, we're doing ok. Why do we think we'll get 3rd? I think we'll finish in 4th. Why? Because only Man City, Chelsea and arguably Arsenal are better than us. But I'm starting to realise that we're better than Arsenal too this season so is United finishing in 3rd place really that much of a shock?

Plus we're likely to bring in 2 players in January, hopefully defenders so we don't see any more of the awful Evans and Jones.

Pretty sure City are top now, and I seem to remember you telling us that Chelsea will walk it.

edit. My bad. Chelsea still top by a goal or so.
