I think Carrick is cack, a passenger when it matters the most.

Carrick is a bit like Hoddle or Le Tissier. Hoddle was never appreciated by English fans, he only played 53 times(Platini once claimed Hoddle could play 153 times for France if he was French), Matt Le Tissier played just 8 times, whereas Emile Heskey(god knows what people see in him) played more than 60 times despite scoring just 7 goals. No wonder, England national team sucks.no he wouldn't. Barry isnt better than Carrick/Fellaini
It's funny you say that. I think Fellaini has played very well for United this season and gives you a physical presence you were lacking before. What have United fans made of him this season?
Long term, if United want to get back to where they were (the bets team in Europe) I am not convinced he is the right man. For where you are currently though, over the next 18 months I think he will be a useful player for you. He was always a favourite of mine at Everton though, and I'm delighted he's beginning to show what he can do.The lad has done just fine - he's proved a lot of United supporters, myself included, wrong. The fans are still split on him though.
Yet Platini, arguably the greatest French player ever, made only 19 more appearances at international level than Hoddle did. At a complete guess, i think back in the days of Hoddle, the 70's and 80's era, 53 caps for your country was quite a feat as there weren't as many friendlies. There must be other factors also. Kevin Keegan only played 60 times for England.Carrick is a bit like Hoddle or Le Tissier. Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has refused to be drawn on speculation linking the club with a move for Real Madrid star Gareth Bale.
Reports in the UK and Spanish media have recently suggested United are ready to bring Bale back to Britain, but Van Gaal insisted any discussion of the Wales international would remain in house.
The former Barcelona manager told a news conference: "I cannot discuss that with you. I discuss it with my CEO and not with anyone in the media."
David Manasseh, who co-owns the Stellar Group that represents Bale, told Calcio Mercato last month that rumours linking the player with a move to United were untrue and that the player was fully committed to Real.
AS has reported that United are willing to pay 120 million pounds, or 153 million euros, to land the player but the newspaper says the player's camp have rejected claims in the UK press that he is keen to return to England.
A poll of 30,000 Real Madrid fans carried out on AS.com found that 53 percent would be happy to see the 25-year-old sold.
Great to watch isn't it? One crap season and they do what a big club does...we on the other hand yoyo from mediocrity to average for 3 decades...He wouldn't deny it in today's presser either.
SPEND SPEND SPEND! Loving it.

Am I?Yeah but in defense of Kenwright, you don't have the sponsorship money to play around with, or the huge stadium that Fergie built for us over time.
Think you're being a bit harsh on Everton there mate.
He doesn't speak a word of spanishI cant get why Bale would want to leave RM for anyone at this point in time. He seems to have settled really well, speaks Spanish, in the sun, with a top, top club. And in terms of a profit for the club, it really is chicken feed in the scheme of things isnt it?
I reckon it is more preening by Utd this one.
