I think we will stay up..

The fans have played a big part in getting us down there close to being relegated with the campaign against the previous manager...by the same token they can play a big part in keeping us in the PL. Yesterday was a chance lost in that respect. The argument that the players need to give fans somethiong to dhout about forst will get us relegated. As sure as night follows day, because we've all agreed in the past that these players cant do it on their own.

A quiet Goodison yesterday lost us 3 points. Re[eat that another 1 or 2 times and we're relegated.

It's a simple choice to make.

Forget these players, they are a dead loss in tems of standing up for themselves in games and getting momentum. The Goodison crowd has to save us.

The fans are not magic fans

The fans can win us games if they eneter the last 4 at home and make it a derby day atmosphere.

Dont do that and we're down.

Nothing surer.

46 games in a season of Championship level football is the reward for repeating the atmosphere of yesterday.

He has a point.

At the end of the game yesterday some of the players went over to clap the Gladwys and got booed. These boos were followed up by other fans with applause.

You can be 100% sure that booing players in the position we’re in helps nobody.

The emotion is totally understandable, but pragmatism is required in our position. If we want the club we to survive the drop we will need every ounce of positivity we can get at Goodison. We can’t give these players any extra incentive to bottle it by moaning at them.

Absolute nonsense.

How do you type that rubbish with a straight face lol

Booing during the game, at half time, or beforehand is completely stupid. Booing after the final whistle is fair game in my opinion. There were players out there yesterday who, with a little bit of fight and application, could have done much better.

The criticism is understandable given how little they give back to the club and the support. They don't deserve anyone making excuses for them at this point. If the realisation of our predicament hasn't set in by now, then it never will.

It's too late for booing at any time.

These players need 110% support for the remaining fixtures. They are rubbish and need any help they can get.

Boo this lot and we play in the Championship next season.

Simple as that.

Other teams have looked dead and buried this season and have found a spark. It's just not obvious where ours is going to come from.

The standard answer would be to go defensive and grind out some points but I'm not sure the team or manager have it in them.

I don't disagree, but it just shows the lack of bottle and fight in the group. They are happy to fall back on any excuse they can find.

But they deserved to be booed at full time yesterday. Some of them put in unacceptable performances and didn't look one bit arsed about it. I find them a pretty disgraceful group of players, certainly not Everton players.

No, they didn't deserve it. They played against a better team with better players but still came close to drawing. They might have drawn and more if Wolves were faced with a wall of noise from the terraces.

We know Goodison can be the difference. We just need 5% more from somewhere to elevate these players performances and they wont get that by booing them.

As said already: want to boo the players? Ok, then do that. But then we are for sure relegated.

A half decent performance and we would have won yesterday. Wolves are far from a good side, they are just organised.

If we had started quick and challenged for second balls then we would have won. Fans need something in return and they got a lack of effort and a lack of guts yesterday. Our two midfield players for example, were not up for the game. Doucoure refused to pass forward, and VDB refused to get himself into space to receive the ball. And people think the fans should applaud that sort of rubbish?

It's very simple... start fast, on the front foot, challenge for second balls, play at a tempo, don't pull out of challenges, and show a bit of urgency, and Goodison will respond immediately.

Seeing as you think you have all the answers, do YOU actually go to games to give the team this support you're on about???

We're not a million miles away.

We only need a few wins, enough to match the teams around us.

Return of Godfrey already gives us a little more stability in defence. Van de Beek adds a bit of steadiness in midfield.

DCL and Richarlison could start finding the net again at any time. They're top strikers, you can't keep them down for too long.

Lampard is learning with every game, what works for us and what doesn't, who he can depend on when the chips are down. And with players returning, there's more options available than at any time since August.

Belief and confidence can transform a team overnight. We've seen glimpses of that already, in the Brentford, Leeds and City games.

They have better players. That's why we are where we are.
