Woke up at 4am thinking about our plight and for my own peace of mind I have decided that :
Get relegated it's for the best , what would next season bring ? Hope more despair , mediocrity , overpaid non triers .
The club needs to be rejuvenated , reborn , build a proper team not a load of individuals that aren't particularly good .
Disappear from the pressure of the Premier League and come back fresh to a new beginning at a new stadium a la Man City .

Don’t think it’s that simple mate. We’ll be down there for a few years trying to rebuild and with the uncertainty of funds for the team and stadium we have to try and survive.

We'd go down with massive debts and a massive wage bill mate, we'd need to offload all our best players to get that wage bill and debt down. We need investors for the stadium, we don't get those investors with no premier league footy. The pressure of trying to get promoted from the Championship would just be as bad. Being relegated would be catastrophic mate.
 

I don't think half the players have the appetite to fight a relegation battle and will happily take the money and move on at the end of the season....i think some fans haven't got the appetite to support the team in the current predicament....

However, this is football and these matters have a habit of not staying the same. Look at Watford a few weeks ago: dead and buried, now in with a chance.

More than likely we'll get clear and survive. That's some admission though after spending half a billion on players.

It needs to be dispatched.

Relegation will lead to a financial crisis that could well see us off.

We can start again as Everton 2.0.

Mate, after years of dross from overpaid clowns, it has worn most Evertonians into the ground

No passion, no guts, clueless. A disgrace to this Club. Paid more in a week than most hard working people earn in a year.

Emotionally exhausted with them. Need to distance myself because it hurts so much.

Absolutely no chance.

More likely to finish 14th or 15th than finish bottom.

32-34 points will probably end up being enough to stay up. 12 games to get 10-12 points minimum. Even W2 D4 L6 gets 10 points.

No matter how bad the current results are, a couple of positive results completely changes the complexion of the relegation battle. Brentford are a very recent example of that. 2 wins on the bounce has put Brentford in a position where 5 points from the last 9 games almost certainly keeps them up.
