We are linked to a load of CMs, its clearly an area Koeman thinks we are weak in and its hard to argue with that, as I say we will sign CMs, we already have a load, some of them are gonna be finding a new home.

Cant even comment on this Gueye fella, cos I quite frankly havent watched him kick a ball, well, I have, I think hes played against us 3-4 times? he never left an impression thats for sure.

MAYBE Gueye would demand less wages and if we could get 15-20 for McCarthy its an extra few bob for the kitty to push harder for somebody else, I dunno Zat, I just dont know.

For the sake of £10mil i wouldnt take the risk of swapping a valued member of the squad for a relatively unknown quantity.

This gueye chap may be class but he also could be a disaster and his stats may be inflated as he was like a pinball in front of villas defence.

Build a bridge and get over it Zat. I forgave everyone I had on ignore at Christmas last year.

Am I intentionally winding up Englishmen sometimes regarding Martyn? Definitely I am...just as thousands of Englishmen have taken shots at every American on here. Grow some thicker skin. I only abused you for quoting so frustratingly wrong. Others have abused you (probably rightfully so) for scary levels of youth knowledge.

Tell you what though, if it was a big name u21 player like Bazoer id be all for it. We should have a top player in each position then the backups should be young players with higher potential. Eventually the u21s push out the first teamers, then rinse and repeat...of course these kids must already be pretty damn good.

Seems pointless to replace players with those who may or may not be 'slightly better'.

Perhaps Gueye is happy to be backup and McCarthy isn't? McCarthy isn't good enough to be first choice for a top 6 team.
