He won't go, and nor should he.
He should be given until the end of the season to turn things around and re-evaluate then. We're playing some of the best stuff we have in years going forward - but ultimately, our defending, as a unit, has not been up to par.
If we were to change in the summer, I'd go for Quique Sanchez-Flores. Fantastic manager, with the same general principles as Martinez re. attacking. However, he knows the importance of defensive work. There was an interview with Ben Watson (who of course played under RM at Wigan) and he said that every day Watford work on defensive shape, and it's paying off.
Our players are of the quality now where not focusing on attack in training wouldn't hinder them. That side of the game is and should be down to improvisation, skill and the chemistry you have with players around you.
