If Martinez went.....

Common sense prevailing - not ready for it.

Totally agree. In many ways it'd be great to have Dunc in charge, someone who'd bleed for the club. But is he all that as a coach ? I've no idea, and I think he needs to cut his teeth somewhere else first, but I'm not sure he'd want to work anywhere else.

The fella who manages Chile would be a great outsider shout, very impressed with his all round set up and actually gets his team to press the opposition. Seems a likeable bloke aswell.

Alan Pardew.....

Yes he's a c**t, but he'd be our c**t....

Done an unbelievable job at Palace, and its shown since he left Newcastle what a great job he was doing there too....

Top be honest i can't see anyone out there who would be a good replacement which is worrying.

there isn't a single manager that would come to us that i can honestly say wouldn't adversely change the team in some way. Best solution? Moyes as assistant manager to teach roberto how to see games out and shut out the other team.

In fact, that would be a great idea, imagine a team that attacks as well as we do knowing when to attack and when to sit back? Play with intelligence and control the game within ourselves, strike when we are most likely to score, defend when attacking would leave us short.

Ridiculous question as most everton fans are limited to premier league football and have very little European knowlege aside from the big clubs

It's ludicrous to think there isn't a manager out there who could do a better job than Martinez is currently doing, Having the leagues top scorer and the second top assister plus Stones,Coleman,Baines,Jags,Mcarthy and Barkley I am sure someone could see us sitting higher than 11th and beating sides in the top half

I reckon there's very few managers who really "shape" a team with any sort of consistency between appointments. Pulis gets a lot of hate, but the man stamps his image on to teams and gets results wherever he goes. He'll never be brought into the fold at a club that has money because of his reputation, but I'd like to see what he would do with a bit of cash and a good footballing side. Not with us though.

Mourinho is another, but current footballing economics puts him well out of our league. The only other really top class manager operating close to our bracket is Mauricio Pochettino, and he'll be moving up after Spurs, I imagine. Great manager.

Said this many times. Lucien Favre.
