I was underwhelmed with this lads stats at OM, but looking a little deeper, he could be a really good addition for us. Playing in his preferred 10 role, his stats are far better than when played wide or as a main striker. Loves running with the ball and taking on defenders. Also works really hard off the ball.

Its bananas to my mind the criticism he gets sometimes, think he's a real footballers footballer - you do nothing without lads like Doucoure. He's been one of our best and most influential signings certainly of this era.
When you compare him to someone like Gomes, who was waved of with affection - despite making a minimum, poor value based contribution for the 55 odd million (11 mill a year) he took out of the club, its bananas.
