Is Sam that bad?

Not having it that Sam wanted Tosun at Palace, there are loads of links saying Palace wanted him or rather Roy did but none from the one window that Sam had there, January 2016, in fact did they even need a striker then? as they went out and bought Schlupp, Van Aanholt and Luka Milivojevic, none of these are strikers.

Either way we do have transfer problems going way back.

It’s bonkers that we can come out of yesterday feeling negative.

3-1 win at home against palace and still our fan base are disgruntled.

He was brought in to keep us in the premier league and at the moment he is doing his job.

After the Southampton match we were all wetting our kecks thinking we were going down.

Now we look like we are going to be safe, the majority of our fan base are starting to find their confidence and clamouring for an exciting name.

Let’s give credit where credit is due and not turn into geordies.
Yes turn into barcodes and get rid. Same as numerous others. Bin the gravy.

Short answer, No.

People don't like Sam that's their choice but they must be hoarding their music collection from the 80's as it's broken record after broken record in every thread on here and has to descend into an anti-Sam post.

Funniest thing lately is, when we've lost or drawn there is no mention of us being without our best player, ohh not it's Sammy's fault, however when we beat Leicester & palace it was only because they were without their best player. At least get off the fence once in awhile even if it is to remove some splinters! Utd lost today so it happens to good squads too, we have some decent players but need a few more, money was squandered we all know that, so lets move on and hope they can rectify it in the summer and we can push for that glorious position of 6th, Christ there will be some nosebleeds around here if we get that high up the table.

I don't think he's capable of kicking us on and I certainly don't think he'll ever be able to promote a brand of 'attractive football' here.

I think his experience alone is what carries him in the Premier League and that's not actually a bad thing - it's no accident that he's still being called on to manage at this level. That being said though, he is a bit of a dinosaur and I think even he recognises that his time in the game is coming to an end. He's not a sustainable option considering he thought he was retired before we came calling, so he'll need replacing at the end of the season regardless imo.

Cant stand him. I want balls when we go to Stamford Bridge, rather than 8 defenders. And the ball needs to stay on the ground not end up in the stars

Strange you say that as Martinez always went for it and he got slammed for doing it. Any manager we sign moving forward is on borrowed time as there will be a faction that oppose him and the venom will appear at the first mistake we make. We get managers the sack... it's what we do now

I don`t agree. Their is a middle ground you know and it is not all about tactics - attitude is massively important
