Bally was also on high wages plus perks at Arsenal, which caused resentment in the Arsenal dressing room - they never suited his style of play as they were a long ball team - there were only flashes of his brilliance at Southampton in his twilight of his career.....
Funny how Kevin Richardson was also sold to them & he played well there to win the Championship many years later......

Couldn't understand the white shoes anywhere else but Goodison. Cried my eyes out along with others. What was he doing playing in red with white sleeves along side Charlie George at Highbury? Tough one to get over actually I never have.
