Wouldn't say he was a 'speedster' or anything, but quick enough like. Similar to Ndiaye I'd say.
Been terrible for Villa in his prem cameos so far.
Think another year in the championship or even going to Ipswich was what he needed in his career.
He isn't rapid either.
Would be a gamble this one. El Ghazi was more proven at this level when he came in at this stage three years ago and he hardly figured due to the change of manager so that really needs to be factored in aswell.
Spoke to a hull fan in the summer when we were in for him, said similar, not rapid and faded badly after a good first half to his season with them. Can't be worse than Harrison, can he?

Villa only paid 12m although on the books it was something like 17m - it's a weird one this.
Due to the sell on clause they paid 17m so I er his contract that comes out as a 3.5m outlay per year on PSR, but they sell on money cane in as pure PSR profit this season so they received 5m.
Overall Villa made a PSR profit of 1.5m by actually buying him .
Now if they sold him for say the 12m they actually paid Hull then Villa will have magic'd up a 13.5m PSR profit by simply acting as an intermediate almost moving him from Hill to us
Tell you what that's one way of circumnavigation of PSR regs ))
Really, he’s only interested in his defensive work, dyche couldn’t careless what he offers the other way, if we buy phillogene and it’s nowhere near as close as Fab is saying, then it will be for the new manager not dycheDyche will play him if he is any good, or any better than our current options which right now is not difficult.
Personally id move both N'Diaye and Philogene to be sort of half no.10 half wide forwards in a 3-4-2-1 formation with Patterson & McNeil wing backs, with Young deputizing for either of those.Would certainly compliment Ndiaye on the other side. Could also actually free up Lindstrom to play more centrally as well.
Clearly you are new to GOT where decisive & final judgements are made on player based of the first 9 minutes of their first appearance for a team.I think 'terrible' is a bit extreme but its fair to say that he hasn't set the world on fire, but he's only had limited opportunities so its all been a bit stop-start for him. Funnily enough, his best performance this season was against Bayern in the UCL where he played really well in a more defensive minded role, but he showed great energy and game awareness so it's evident he's not out of place at that level.
El Ghazi was a cult hero at Villa, especially due to a number of important goals he scored for us, but he was never consistent- I'd say potential wise, there'd definitely be more upside to Philogene.
6 wins (if we draw 0 games) would keep us up. That shouldn't be to hard with Ipswich, Leicester & Southampton all still to play at home.I think a front 4 of N’Diaye/McNeil/Philogene behind one of Broja/DCL would give me a little more confidence that we can stay up. Especially with Tim and Garner back in contention.
