Transfer Rumour Jadon Philogene

Maybe the Manager and DoF don't think he's worth the extra 2m.

It should be their call, not the owners. That's one of the key areas where Moshiri went wrong.

£2m is peanuts for a Premier League club. You could make that argument if Hull were demanding £30m+ but they're not. £18m is reasonable for a highly rated english player. We sold Dobbin for £10m who is poor.

Once again the DOF & manager are not receiving adequate backing. The fans will be calling for their heads when we're in another dogfight as they expect water to be turned into wine.

Why wouldn’t he chose Ipswich. It appears he has but some are in denial. McKenna is
Possibly the most talent young coach in the game and Ipswich appear to have a financial backing to boot from an American pension fund worth 4 times what is here. Appreciate they are new comers but they are certainly making waves in this window. Greaves/Delap also lined up and both look very promising young English talent.
Because he will be back playing championship football in a year.

The gulf between the Premiership and the Championship.
You need to be signing players with a Premiership pedigree to have any chance of staying up.

Burnley actually won the championship easily and went straight back.

I think Ipswich surviving is a very long odds.

No idea where the lad ends up.
But we have to accept a lot of players won't fancy playing under Dyche.
It's not easy for attacking players and wide players have a really tough/important defensive job in his teams.
That's not a criticism of Dyche who's got us results with his style/system.
Just the reality that the amount of potential signings is smaller.

Won’t at all be surprised if he ends up back at Villa.

I do find it hilarious seeing posters say stuff like "2mill is peanuts for a prem club, just stump up the extra" etc, off the back of a season where we was deducted a ton of points for failing to meet spending requirements

Not necessarily- that’s been the main criticism of our transfer policy. Only looking inside the PL

The only reason we were even in a relegation dogfight was that moshiri's ineptitude with our finances that lead to point deductions we would be firmly mid table without them. You're making a lot of assumptions without any factual knowledge of the situation, first of all maybe they have other targets or that the player's agent is an unpredictable factor they don't wanna engage in any further, also moshiri is still the owner how can you put any onus on people who aren't running the club yet lol once again another hyperbolic post at least Dave is creative with his comments and seems fully invested in his paranoia this critique of the club which the person you champion is still in charge is befuddling
