Sorry Dave, I will do better.I made some reservations about him.
You're really just sloppy these days.

Yes. And Branthwaite was all over the place until he went to Holland. Remember his almost fatal slip up against Brentford and his sending off.Dyche has a knack of picking and developing centre half’s.
Take a look at his highlight youtube videos.Sorry Dave, I will do better.

Yes and both Branthwaite and Dom took a few years to actually develop and nail down a spot. I’m not arguing the point that you need to buy prospects cheap and develop them but sometimes you need to spend on a player that can contribute immediately. It’s a balancing act, you can’t just say ‘why didn’t we get X before he went to X’ for every transfer…I mean no, you can’t.
We literally did the correct thing signing Branthwaite from Carlisle didn’t we. Or Dom from Sheff Utd.
As a former CB, I can only judge CBs in the flesh, its about how they move across a pitch, crescent, moon kinda thing.Take a look at his highlight youtube videos.
Dave supporting a new player, im shook, cant have anything to do with his Irish roots, oh no.
Wait, you think Branners is getting dropped????
A broken bone in his foot - toe erc does not stop him walking ..Joey, he was walking round the ground in trainers today, if he'd broken his foot as someone who has done myself, he's not doing that
A low block defence is good Matty if the team is setup rightpace you say… this is what we lack
Always loved the honey monster. Pitty it didn't work out for him here. Never forget his performance for Ireland v the Russians in Moscow….yep, I knew him a little because he was in digs with a close friend of mine. There was an issue I won’t go into here but he was a very good player. I have it in mind that Keegan spent a lot of time with him off the pitch and helped him lots.
Leaked video from the clubs social media team showing Jake’s unveiling!
And if VAR did their job that would never have happened but anyway I think Dyche can turn O'Brien into a beast of a defenderYes. And Branthwaite was all over the place until he went to Holland. Remember his almost fatal slip up against Brentford and his sending off.
Look at the positives mate. Transfers being done early for once and more than we probably would have thought. Branthwaithe still here. Maybe the scouting aspect might be changing too. No point looking back on the last few seasons of turd transfers. Onward and upward. My biggest gripe with this signing is it shows how piss poor our scouting is. Lad went for peanuts last Summer which means we’re basically just signing him on last season’s showing and nothing beforehand.
Hopefully with Lindstrom, Ndiaye and maybe Gnoto won't have to be relying totally on set pieces mateShould be a huge goal threat in a team were our only method of attack is set pieces
Long term ofc we did, but neither of them walked into the team, Jarrod and DCL both took a few years to start to feature.
But unless you wanna turn into Zatara mate with a squad of prepubescents then you can't always sign the player 'before' they've actually shown they can handle that step up.
Take our business this season - Tim could very well turn into one of those players, but premier to premier there's a huge premium, if you think palace would sell him to us for 1m you're living in cuckoo land, they gave a massive fid punt and btw have a big sell on fee because they are in essence a sister club almost.
