Uncanny resemblance!

someone's being a bit of a tubular bell in this thread :)

Bet you sat there for about 15 minutes thinking about that one, before pressing the post button with a chuckle to yourself about how clever you are.

"Ooooooh look, his name is Tubey, that reminds me a of a tubular bell, which could mean bellend! Aren't I clever?!?!"

Bravo mate, bravo. A true wit.

Thanks for that vital, off topic, expletive-based contribution to what has actually been a decent discussion over the last few pages about an Everton footballer in an Everton discussion forum. Much welcomed

According to the old fella he didn't do much with the ball when he came on because we were under the cosh but ran round like a lunatic and made about 59526 tackles a minute. Fair?

It would be nice to see one of those little passing diagrams some people post on here showing exactly where his passes went.

I saw nothing yesterday that suggests he is a Joe Allen or Jack Rodwell, the vast majority of his passes appeared to go forward incisively as opposed to sideways and easy.

Vast majority were 5-10 yards, which is what he should have been doing as we needed him to retain possession and kill off the game. There was one decent pass in to Mirallas and one bad one which was intercepted on the left easily.

I am not saying he had a bad game at all, I'm just saying he did the bare bones of what you'd expect from a Premier League midfielder and not much else. But I'm not really talking about the performance, I'm talking about instances of play that I hope aren't indicative of his playing style long term.

Been watching Everton and Wigan for many years and I was thrilled when this transfer went through (my hearts obviously everton). And no doubt he is the most effective player Wigan have had for some time. Tube head, can't wait for to feed these words into your mouth. The lads a good good player.

I'm not sure what you actually mean, but what words are you speaking of exactly?

I'd like to know exactly what you think I've said about the lad.
