What I wrote was just the values of Everton FC: "People's Club". You call it mental gymnastics.I've seen some mental gymnastics to be mad about something and this is up there.

Agree with this tbh, Often wonder who is behind our comms/media team as sometimes they just seem to make the most basic of faux pas. I do wonder if this is an area the club could look to improve on.Nobody would have an issue if he hadn’t of pulled out midweek due to “fatigue”.
That was a PR disaster of a statement by the club.
You can’t not expect people to react to that, it’s absolutely pathetic.
I've followed since 2013 in which time Everton have won nada damn thing, so I'd say Everton are pretty lucky I still follow avidly from afar.Where exactly do your loyalties lie, pal?
Hahahaha. No at all. I still love James, he is such a magical player. Besides I’m not the type of poster that trashes our players but I’m also not going to shy away from constructive criticism. I really do think it is a shame James didn’t stick with the Team until the end regardless of his injury. He is in a position of leadership because of his global status and he should do a better job representing the Club and giving back to the fans.@Sassy Colombian has gone rogue!

Iwobi gash thoughEmbarrassing how our fans claim we’re this club of the people and not like all those other corporate scab clubs, and then go out of their way to make excuses for this guy who is the epitome of the modern footballer completely out of touch with reality and essentially lives on a different planet to any of us. Remember Iwobi getting absolutely destroyed on here by the same people for posting an Instagram video on a boat during an international break.
What a treat you must be to spend time with.I wouldn't
You really are a miserable [Poor language removed].Sod off then. Bye.
That's good as that is an area that has needed improving for years. I used to know someone years ago who worked in the marketing dept and they lasted 6 months and then went to work for the FA as he said it was just a shambles at the time (Moyes was manager at the time) and the club was nowhere near making the best of itself. They don't really, our fans just seem really good at picking up on weird things and making way to much about them.
That said they were recruiting a marketing person a few weeks back so...
What makes 33-year old Seamus Coleman unable to cross a ball? Is it because he doesn't try enough or because he simply doesn't have the ability or technique?Yes, it is their fault!
He might have already done the publicity pictures for the new home kit with Richarlison and maybe Coleman or Allan plus Pickford who were also not included on the away kit launch.Tbf though mate Fergie never had to call his group of players out as being cowards!
I just think it doesn't look good in the same week as publically calling out your squad as being lazy cowards to then let James bugger off early as he is "tired".
The fact he wasn't modelling the new away kit sends alarm bells though as I said yesterday why wouldn't you have your most marketable player modelling the new kit?
Wouldn't be suprised if he isn't here come next season.
The win at Anfield doesn't happen without James. What makes 33-year old Seamus Coleman unable to cross a ball? Is it because he doesn't try enough or because he simply doesn't have the ability or technique?
I think Gylfi is a dreadful player who hardly does anything well but nothing I've seen suggests he's anything else than a model professional.
Opposition players skip past Andre Gomes because he's slow and bad at defending, not because he wants to let them get past him so easily.
James Rodriguez struggles to stay fit as he has for the last 6 or so years and while I'm sure Carlo wants to get more out of him, I don't think he can. Either the club knew what they were doing when they signed him and considered this as a possibility, or they didn't which would just make them very, very naive, especially with the Premier League generally being more intense and demanding physically.
