To be honest - I think we've all read about Atsu's pace rather than actually seen it - not seen him knock it past anybody and run past them yet.
.....there was one run and cross, I think in the Palace game that gives one little glimpse of hope.

This.Should be looking at spending on quality defender not a forward
Bily back?!Everton scouts went to vienna last night to watch Austria vs. Russia.
I know he played as a CF for Costa Rica but isn't Campbell more like Alexis Sanchez - high energy and physical who likes to work out on the wings but who can move central when needed?Should be looking at spending on quality defender not a forward
Also if the player becomes available, it's surely worth looking at.I know he played as a CF for Costa Rica but isn't Campbell more like Alexis Sanchez - high energy and physical who likes to work out on the wings but who can move central when needed?
I'm not even sure we'll buy one for cover tbh, all the feedback i've heard about Browning and Galloway has been very encouraging so we might just extend Alcaraz's contract a year (cue mass groans) and plan on Stones/Jags being the primary pair with the other three as backup. Would lack experience if both Jags and Alcaraz get crocked but Barry might also be used and Stones has impressed me with his leadership skills despite being young. Also if the player becomes available, it's surely worth looking at.
I'm not convinced we will go in for a high class CB in January either tbh. I think we will buy a reasonable one for cover.
Bily back?!
If that's the case you'd expect to see them sooner rather than later. I suspect we will persist with Distin and Jagielka for as long as we can and have Browning waiting on the bench until Stones and Alcaraz recover.I'm not even sure we'll buy one for cover tbh, all the feedback i've heard about Browning and Galloway has been very encouraging so we might just extend Alcaraz's contract a year (cue mass groans) and plan on Stones/Jags being the primary pair with the other three as backup. Agree, Alcaraz is due back early Dec and Stones possibly New Year. Would like to see Browning get a game or two in an easy game but unfortunately, Everton being Everton, none of them seem easy at the moment. Perhaps Krasnodar at home if we get the needed points at Wolfsberg. If that's the case you'd expect to see them sooner rather than later. Reserves does seem like a step down in standard, but maybe it benefits Galloway in that he plays the style of football being taught throughout the club? Will be interesting to see if Galloway goes on loan in Jan, perhaps to a championship side as he already has first team experience at MK Dons.
Me neither, which is surprising since we are both such experts on footballReserves does seem like a step down in standard, but maybe it benefits Galloway in that he plays the style of football being taught throughout the club? I dunno.
