Although I tend to agree with you, there are also good examples of players who made an impact straight away.

Arteta & Landon Donavan as two examples of that.

Let's hope who ever we buy, we get that same quick impact from, because we need it.

If they are senior players and good they will make a difference. Shame we couldn't get a few in before the derby.

Galloway can’t even make a dire Sunderland’s bench (they would rather go 3 at the back then play him). I’d rather have Martina playing. Only thing Galloway offers is that he is naturally left footed.

We need to be careful regarding numbers though. Say we end up with 3 extra this month then we have Dowell and Onyekuru certain 1st teamers next season that is not going to leave a lot of room for signings in the summer. I think we have gotten ourselves in a real mess with some average players we are going to struggle to shift.

Sam would sort him out I'm sure. I'd have him all day long ahead of Martina because I've seen what he is capable of.

Is that the same Galloway who played 4-5 games under Martinez whilst Baines was out? I thought he did well, shame he’s been dragged down to Sunderland’s level after being treated like dog tird by Pulis at West Brom. We seem to get good young players who we then seem to f up one way or another

Someone I really like is Sisto of Celta Vigo. 22 Years old, 4 goals and 9 assists (most in the league) playing for Celta as a left winger/ midfielder. Just scored against Barcelona!

Exactly, he played 4-5 games. We haven’t seen enough of him to know if he was good enough. And judging by our managers loaning him out and then other managers not wanting to play him, it implies he isn’t good enough. Theres a big habit of overhyping young players.

He wasn't even good. His defending against City still sicks out it was so comical. Only Martina and Keane have come close. He has great stamina and decent pace and thats it.
