Rather have Gaitan for the left, better player than either and similar age.
Yeah defo better than both (and anyone else in the squad)

More of a playmaker from the left as opposed to a winger tho isn't he? Feel like we've already got too many players wanting to work in the hole, so not sure stylistically he's the sort of wide player we need

Replacing niasse with Walcott for similar money to what we sold Barkley for is good business. Walcott has had some great seasons when played regularly. Can play wide and up front and knows the league, is be happy with it. Pace.....

Walcott not good enough for 6th place Arsenal and it’s not like because he’s a young star who can improve who can’t get game time.

...it’s day 10 of the January transfer window and here’s a round-up of the gossip for this Wednesday morning;

- Portuguese outlet, O Jogo, say Everton and Leicester will be encouraged by Rafael Silva’s rejection of a move from Benfica to Besiktas. It is thought the 24 year old winger prefers a transfer to the Premier League.

- Everton’s hopes of signing Crystal Palace LB, Patrick van Aanholt are dead in the water after the Dutchman declared his desire to stay with the Eagles on social media.

- According to the Mail, Everton are confident of signing Arsenal’s Theo Walcott for £20m this month. The Toffees can match the players £110k per week salary.

- The Liverpool Echo says Everton have failed in a bid to land Stefano Sturaro from Juventus. The players agent, Carlo Volpi, is quoted as saying his club have no intention of letting him leave this month.

- The agent of Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen has told the Daily Mirror that whilst the player is unhappy with his lack of game time, he’s not looking to leave the club this month.
