More of a playmaker from the left as opposed to a winger tho isn't he? Feel like we've already got too many players wanting to work in the hole, so not sure stylistically he's the sort of wide player we need

Think he can do both roles mate, one thing he can do is beat a man and actually move though, him left, bolasie right and Sigurdsson in the middle, Walcott effectively drifts inside more imo anyway than this lad, basically need movement around siggy

Nah we're 1/3 of the way through the window and have done 1/2 of the business we needed to. I'd like a centre back but it can wait til Summer.

We'll sign a left back, might have to wait til DD or for some deadwood to be cleared but we'll sign one.

That is not good enough. We are still desperate for a centre back, Jagielka has been doing this for years, whenever you feel he's on the verge of finally being replaced he has 1 or 2 decent games and then the club goes "oh we're alright, Jags has another season left in him, here's a new contract". We've now started leaking goals again, 2 in each of the last 3 games. Yet another window where we're lazily meandering around on priority positions until deadline day hoping to pick up a bargain bin signing.

You won't get the centre back you want in January, you won't get value in January and you won't get a settled defence by signing one in January

What's the point in rushing it? I'm not that arsed about whether we finish 7th or 9th so I'd rather we spent the next few months scouting and maybe working on a deal for the right man and bringing him in early doors and letting him bed into the defence with a preseason under his belt.

Whether you trust Walsh or not (I don't), surely you'd trust him less to get the best man/deal in January

But it isn't simply a case of finishing 7th or 9th is it? It'd be incredibly naive to think we couldn't still get dragged into that bottom half mosh pit, we're only about 4 points off 15th.

You're hanging your hat on us finishing in a respectable place there. Let's say we do finish 15th, what quality are we going to be able to buy? The complacency with some of our fans astonishes me. We are a dreadful side, we're relying on Tosun hitting the ground sprinting to have a hope of finishing anywhere near 7th. We're as far away from Burnley as we are from Stoke points wise.

Celtic know they've got two 'big players' atm who can make them a lot of money.

They'd rather sell Dembele now, meaning there is no pressure to sell Tierney.
