What?. Like staying fit for 3 consecutive games?

The Liverpool doesn't bother me in the slightest either mate. Just the injury thing. Said the same about Welbeck. Both players would improve our squad provided they stayed fit.

Only been unavailable for them for 2 games since April mate (missed 13 games since January 16), yeah he is a massive risk with his past record, but we won't get in a top level striker without some 'issues' and don't see the point just getting in a jobber who we'd be stuck with and not be that much of an improvement really.

His injury history recently at least has been exaggerated by the fact Klopp tended to leave him out the squads after each knock for 2-3 games - so seems like he was injured for way longer than he actually was)

Fair do's. Didn't realise he'd been fit. Just assume the opposite with him don't you. And it's not really a massive risk if it's just a loan.

Would take Sturridge on a loan deal mate, not even arsed about him playing for them, it's a world cup year, he'd not need time to adjust and he'd be fired up. Loan him with a pre agreed fee if he hits certain targets whilst here.

If you look at some of SAMs best business, it has been taking lads at the end of their career and finding a way to utilise them effectively. Djorkaef and Okacha are two such players at Bolton while Defoe fitted that bill to an extent too.

Sturridge is still in his prime, but given his injuries needs to be managed like a lad who is 35 not 27. He simply can't play the way Klopp wants him too, and they are not short of goals so Klopp has no need to bend to building the team around him.

I think if he came here, we would get legs around him and he would score goals.

Benteke would seem to fit / Walcott on loan makes sense / a Cresswell type to cover Baines (though I would prefer Chilwell)/ and a large CB, Dunk perhaps. Have to think that is about the max activity.

Still, that would be four (4!) in during a January window, with - one would have to believe - a couple of outs (Mirallas, McCarthy perhaps) as well. Not sure we will find as many partners sharing our desire to do business as we would like.

Really hope we don't bring in Deeney....

Spot on.

Sturridge can`t cope with Klopps One Million miles an hour footy, gets injured and then becomes more and more marginalised.

With the right people around him, he`d be a great addition.
