Jeez mate, you mention some of the best in World football in that list, we’re not gonna get an established striker of that calibre. The best we could hope for would be to buy someone with the potential to be as good. Barbosa may be, Rashford may be. Jesus and Martial too. No they’re obviously not at that level, YET, not many are. But let’s be fair. They are obviously not ‘below Champs League level’.
Seen a lot of Barbosa mate ?
Asking for a friend.

And this is based in his 10 appearance's for Inter or 5 for Benfica ?Yes he's garbage mate.
Let him stick to scoring in a league where the defenders are part time sparks.
I look at Coutinho in the same way , big move to Italy at a young age .Struggled at Inter , loaned out twice before Liverpool "took a chance" on him.I’m sure Gabigol does have something about him, he was getting into the Brazil side at a young age and he’s just got top scorer in Brazil but unless you watch Santos I don’t really know how anyone can be claiming that he’s the answer or how anyone is saying he’s garbage.
There’s virtually no risk to getting him on loan with an option to buy so I’d be all for giving him a chance.
I suspect they want to send him into the sun really, but a loan is the best they’ll getChelsea want to send Morata out on loan in January
Just don't want Barbosa coming in as he's garbage.
Gabriel Jesus might be an option once Man City sign a quality back up to Aguero. Jesus is similiar to Rashford in that he's good but not quite at a CL Club's level yet.
Having 2 Brazilian's up top would also be ace, would just need Malcom out the right.

If it is Gabigol on a loan with a fixed agreed option to sign him I will trust Brands rather than anyone . He was certainly well thought of only a year or 2 ago.
Coutinho wasn't really a flop in Italy, he just wasnt getting game time in their midfield.
From what I've seen of Barbosa he's yet another risk signing like Tosun and Sandro and im sick of us taking punts on the most important position on the pitch.
We need a proper goalscorer.
