The cries for Gomes to score goals is a bit ridiculous. He was brought into the team to MAYBE score 5 goals a season. He is a vital part of the build up play not the end product of them. I know we are in desperate need for goals but let’s start with a new ST, not pointing the finger at the build up men for goals because in that case I want to see Pickford start slotting some home. He’s really been slacking in recent years.

The wide men are the major issue for me. Not a goal or an assist in 10 straight games for Walcott and Bernard, Richarlison has proved he can score goals in the middle and Sigurdsson chips in just behind him but our wingers are offering nothing too often.

Thats why Richarlison should be back on the left imo...

Really need 2 top players in Jan.

Agree with that. We could probably get by replacing only one of them for a goalscorer though. With the replacement, Richarlison and Sigi pitching in with goals that should be enough.

Bernard as more of a support player like Pienaar was. I'm still very hopeful we'll see a lot more from him in the future.
 
Haller is very good, we should have signed him from Utrecht he was worth the gamble of a few quid, him and richy in a 2 upfront with a diamond 4 of Siggy, Gueye, Gomes and Bernard is the stuff of dreams.
