I can’t see us going back in for tierney.
But the others yes. I would rather spend the Tierney money on a young defensive midfielder. Someone like Berge

Odd this season that hes only made 5 sub appearances for benfica.

So, i think we can cover the numbers based on tv money and commercials...

Of course this is just the basics and it will be calculated in other ways over several years with staggered payments etc.

I do think its important for us to try and bring in £50mil in Jan and the summer to enable us to spend a similar amount in fees + free up space for wages.

Boro might have just agreed to pay Bolasie's £50-60k a week and no fee, similar with Besic and Willams and Cuco
Sociedad probably agreed to pay half of Sandro's £100k a week
Fiorentina will defo have paid a £1m fee for Mirallas

FFP includes the wage bill. Our wage bill is the 11th highest in the league. Remarkable work from Brands getting rid of the (highly-paid) deadwood.

Schneiderlin to West Ham for £20m in January
Niasse to Brighton/Huddersfield for £10-13m in January

Another £150k off the weekly wage bill. Not that arsed about signings in Jan barring serious injury. McCarthy back fit gives more options in midfield etc

Bernard, mina, richarlison and digne will be a combined 400k a week

Zouma and gomes is 4m in loan fees plus there wages on top.

No way are villa middelsboro stoke paying the full salary it's probably half.
Also I'm pretty sure we are still paying Koemans holland wages until the end of next season.

Villa are paying at least 90% of Bolasie’s wage.

Don’t know about the rest but think you are way out here Harvey.

Yeah you're probably right but...
Williams £70k
Mirallas £60k (new deal)
Sandro £100-120k a week
Besic £30k
Cuco £35k
Funes Mori £40k
Bolasie £70k
Klassan £120k

The 6 loan players total around £365k a week. If we got half of that being paid by the loan clubs plus the £160k saved from Klassan and Mori its around £340k saved. If you're right and the difference is not that much. Plus I reckon Silva will be on less than Koeman was. Sell Schneiderlin and Niasse and we will have definitely a reduced wage bill, with a much better team.... remarkable!!
 
Gabriel Barbosa returns to inter in jan. struggled when he went there so they shipped him out on loan to santos where he’s been scoring plenty.

Wonder if we could sort a loan to the end of the season with an agreed fee if he does well?
